Confusing Layout Empty Confusing Layout

Post by BigAndy9 Sun Oct 25, 2015 2:31 pm

Hello - when looking at the entertainment section i noticed my new thread is there twice - the section heading and the sub heading.

When you go in to any of the section headings you are then presented with all the sub sections - is that the way it is supposed to appear? I think it looks confusing, and is!

I mean, i've gone in to a couple and it's "What the flip"?

ok hows that...in each category header (the one with the picture of plato) you will always see the latest post in that category

in each of the category sections (the ones with the little page symbol) you will always see the last post in that section

if the page symbol is brown then there is a new (to you) post in it

You definitely need the dividers between the sections though - one big first page is errrm... awful!

I think the best option was the original.

But, in the divider it had the title of the section (News, Science etc) and then you had the section name again underneath (News, Science) - could you not just get rid of that one underneath?

I know that's a bit samey as some of the other forums, but...?

This current one doesn't show you enough in my opinion.

Hmmm, well the original one did show more so newbies would find things easier.

Vic if you choose each section as a sub category that's why you see the same post twice? It's like you e "attatched" a sub-section to the header?

Dies that make sense?
