Renegotiation Of Europe Empty Renegotiation Of Europe

11th November 2015

So he hasn't asked for much.

Other leaders have said some of it is too much and "problematic".

Will he get it? I think after lots of pretend wrangling, yes he will and he'll stand somewhere and triumphantly tell all of those who don't read in depth that he's won a great deal for the Brits - hoorah.

And all of those misinformed plebs will vote to stay.

What do you think?

Andy, personally I think Cameron is playing a very crafty hand. By making it look as though he's contemplating quitting the EU he's hoping people wont go over to UKIP, and vote tory next time round. If he doesn't get his own way at the EU conference etc, will he have a referendum? I very much doubt it.

I know that lying is a prerequisite for all MP's but I doubt that Cammers would be foolish enough to go back on his promise on a referendum. The current events surrounding the mass exodus from Syria to Europe along with the recent terrorist attacks will be enough for many UK citizens. I wouldn't mind if being part of Europe brought fantastic benefits and little in the way of expense. You only have to ask yourself how many household products carry the made in... Belgium, Sweden, Hungary, Norway etc. I bet your home and office contains more products from outside the EU.
